The Challenge

Bring years of Facebook lives, videos and reels onto an owned website when the account is a professional-mode profile, not a Page.

The obvious route (connect the Graph API and sync) was closed: Facebook blocks post listing for professional-mode profiles regardless of permissions. The client also did not want a site that copies videos and slowly drifts out of date, and the team needed to curate the home page themselves.

Our Solution

A link-first content library with webhook auto-add, live detection and editorial control, on a fast Next.js site with a blog.

CrysoLabs tested the API limits, then designed around them. Public post, video, reel and live links are collected and imported into a de-duplicated library; webhooks add new items and flag lives, with every trigger logged; and editors can add, hide, feature, reorder, filter and search anything. The public site (hero, Latest Posts, a draggable Moments archive, a live section, a full Videos & Lives library, About and Contact) renders each item through Facebook's embed player, so captions and counts are always current. Admin access uses signed sessions, passkeys and rate-limited sign-in, and a blog with SEO fields and Cloudflare R2 uploads is ready for editorial content.
