SEO-first ecommerce storefront

A networking and IT equipment store engineered for search from the first commit.

AccessStore.lk gives a technical retailer a storefront that can rank and sell: every category and product has its own statically rendered page, structured data and share image, while the design makes routers, switches and CCTV gear feel premium rather than catalogue-grey.

An SEO-first online store for a Sri Lankan networking and IT equipment retailer: six category landing pages, 24 product pages with spec tables, structured data on every product, and premium GSAP merchandising, all statically rendered so Google can read every page without JavaScript. Pre-launch, ready for the live catalog.

Business context

Networking buyers (IT professionals, system integrators, businesses and home users) search by specification. The store needed pages Google can index one by one, sections that open with a direct answer, and an enquiry path that pre-fills the product a buyer is asking about.

Client fit

Best fit for specialist retailers and distributors with technical catalogs who win on search, sell through quotations as much as carts, and want a premium brand feel without giving up page speed.

What this proves

The build demonstrates the ecommerce capabilities a serious brand needs before it can sell confidently online.

67 routes statically generated, including 6 category and 24 product pages
Product, Offer, BreadcrumbList, ItemList, FAQPage and Organization structured data
A generated Open Graph image for every product
Sitemap with image entries, self-referencing canonicals and real 404s
GSAP pinned product stack, Flip-animated search and smooth scrolling, all with reduced-motion support
46 site images cut from 71 MB to 3.4 MB (95% smaller) as optimised WebP sources

Commerce capabilities

Search-first catalog

A smooth-caret product search with popular queries, a category rail, sort and in-stock filters, and a grid that animates as results change, with the query kept in the URL.

Pages built to rank

Each category opens with a direct answer, each product carries a visible spec table and a 'last updated' date, and the FAQ is marked up for rich results.

Enquiry-led ordering

'Order now' opens the contact form with the product and SKU already filled in. The form is validated on the server and protected by a honeypot.

Premium merchandising

A product-marquee hero, a pinned featured-products stack, a draggable gear gallery, and editorial About and Contact pages.

Architecture summary

Static generation everywhere

All catalog, category and content pages are prerendered, so content is in the HTML on first byte and hosting stays simple.

Typed content layer

Site details, categories, products, FAQs and testimonials live in typed modules with the same shape a future CMS or API can return.

Image pipeline

One command converts exported artwork into sized WebP sources; next/image then serves AVIF or WebP at the right size for each device.

Strategic thinking

Give every product its own indexable page instead of hiding the catalog behind filters.

Lead each section with the answer a buyer is searching for.

Keep motion below the fold so the hero text paints without waiting for JavaScript.

Turn 'order' into a pre-filled conversation, because technical buyers want advice before they pay.
